Our client, a leading insurance company, was struggling with the increasing complexity and volume of its software applications. Their manual regression testing process was prone to errors, becoming time-consuming, and costly. The client needed a better way to test its software applications to ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Working in partnership with AmbTech, the client’s leadership team decided to implement automated regression testing; a process of using software tools to run pre-scripted tests on software applications. The goal was to automate repetitive and time-consuming tasks, eliminate human error, and increase efficiency in the testing process.
The implementation of automated regression testing in over 30 key applications was a challenging process, but the client’s leadership team was committed to seeing it through. AmbTech formed a team of experienced Business Analysts and Test Engineers to create a comprehensive suite of automate test scripts that could be run repeatedly to detect any issues in the software applications.
The team used a variety of tools and frameworks, including Selenium and Appium, to develop the automated tests. They also integrated the tests with the client’s continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline to ensure that any issues discovered during testing could be addressed quickly.
